At Pier Lodge Day Nursery we are committed to having disability friendly facilities in order to ensure every child, family and staff member reach their full potential and are not limited in any way.

Not every disability is visible.  Whether a mental or physical disability Pier Lodge believe that we have the expertise, equipment and facilities to ensure it is never a problem.

The nursery itself is purpose built and designed from scratch.  We have ensured the whole nursery environment, from the car park and entrance, to the width of corridors and doorways, to access to and from the garden is friendly for wheelchairs.

In the medical room we have an electric changing bed available comfort and have disabled toilets available on the ground floor.

In the event that additional equipment is required for special disabilities, we will not hesitate to speak with local outside agencies to ensure equipment necessary is available for both children and staff members.
