Chinese New Year 2019!

Happy Chinese New Year to all our families at Pier Lodge Day Nursery. This year we have enjoyed a variety of activities, such as decorating and making colourful dragons, having a go at drawing Chinese symbols, dressing up in traditional Chinese costumes and trying a variety of oriental foods such as noodles and spring rolls. The children had great fun practising how to use chopsticks!

To celebrate the year of the Pig, children have been making masks, enjoying animal printing and reading traditional stories. We are very impressed with the colourful work that our children have produced.
