Harvest Festival!

We are currently celebrating the Harvest Festival! Harvest festival is traditionally a celebration during which schools and nurseries collect food to donate to those in need. The children at Pier Lodge Day Nursery have been learning about sharing, giving to others and the importance of not wasting food through a variety of activities.

To support the local community we are collecting food for the local food banks. The food banks are asking for food such as: tinned fruit, long life milk, tinned carrots, cooking sauces, coffee and crisps. The food banks have advised that they already have plenty of pasta, biscuits and baked beans.
